GEMI Open Data and AI readiness
Greece-only registry identity. The score on a named audit is a different artefact.
G.E.MI. (Γενικό Εμπορικό Μητρώο / General Commercial Registry) is Greece’s company publicity register. AGICY reads GEMI Open Data for legal name, arGEMI and AFM. That is identity, not an AI readiness score, not a certification, and not an official GEMI procedure.
What the Open Data feed is for
Greek filings can be confirmed against GEMI Open Data. The live API allows 8 requests per minute. Cache hits for a previous AFM or arGEMI key do not spend that budget. Unguarded Latin-name search is refused because fragments such as “Alpha” match the wrong company.

Does GEMI Open Data produce an AI readiness score?
No. GEMI returns publicity facts (legal name, arGEMI, AFM, filings). Named research scores are dated public-web estimates of EU AI Act, GDPR, DORA and NIS2 language. They are not GEMI rescores and not a certification.
Why is the live API limited?
GEMI Open Data allows 8 requests per minute. AFM and arGEMI are the lookup keys. A bare Latin name is not a key, and foreign companies are not queried — Cyprus uses a different registrar.
